You may have read my post back in July of 2014 listing The 10 Best Blog Posts I Have Read So Far This Year. During the second half of the year, I have created a list of ten more that I just love. I love them all for different reasons – they either make me pee laughing, make me cry with heartbreak, or make me feel something a LOT. I had so many favorites, but these are a few that I especially loved.
My Angel At LAX (Mamalawmadingdong) – A sweet personal memory of Robin Williams that did not use his name in the title as click bait like every other story about him did just after his passing. The sweetest tribute I read.
Prayer For Gluten (by Wendy Brenner on The Sun) – Whether you are gluten-free, love gluten, or are just sick of hearing about it, this should make you laugh out loud. I’ll tempt you to read it with this: “Enlighten those of us in your flock, O Lord, who go about slandering gluten with great authority and volume, even though they never heard of gluten until last year.”
What Men Versus Women Think When Bringing Home A New Baby – (Dr. Psych Mom on Modern Mom) – This had me rolling with the men’s take. Hilarious!
Date Night For Parents vs. Date Night For Non-Parents – (Fighting Off Frumpy on Huffington Post) – If you are a parent who has ever attempted date night or wants to rip up the advice columns that suggest having date nights with your significant other once a week, you’ll want to read this. Be prepared to laugh. A lot.
